## Long description

The KRISBERG 7716 Grey Enamelled Cast Iron Frying Pan 20 cm is a reliable kitchen tool designed for everyday cooking tasks such as frying, searing, and browning. With a compact 20 cm diameter, this skillet is built from durable cast iron covered with a protective grey enamel finish, offering both traditional thermal performance and modern convenience.
Advantages
This enamelled cast iron frying pan provides exceptional heat retention and even distribution across the entire cooking surface, helping to cook food uniformly without hot spots. The durable grey enamelled coating protects the cast iron base from rust and corrosion while eliminating the need for traditional seasoning. It offers a smooth surface that is straightforward to clean after use and ensures versatile performance across various types of kitchen cooktops.
Suitable for
Frying eggs, pancakes, and smaller portions
Searing steaks, chicken breasts, and cutlets
Browning vegetables and preparing side dishes
Transitioning from stovetop to oven for baking or finishing dishes
When it may not be suitable
This pan may not be ideal for users who require an ultralight cookware item, as cast iron naturally has a heavier weight. Additionally, it might be too small for preparing large family-sized meals in a single batch due to its 20 cm diameter.
Key specifications
Product type: Enamelled cast iron frying pan
Diameter: 20 cm
Color: Grey
Material: Cast iron with enamel coating
Hob compatibility: Suitable for multiple hob types
How to use
Place the frying pan on a matching burner size and heat it gradually on low to medium settings to allow the cast iron to warm up evenly. Add your preferred cooking oil or butter before placing ingredients into the pan. Use wooden, silicone, or heat-resistant plastic utensils to protect the enamelled surface from scratching. Allow the pan to cool down naturally before washing it by hand with warm water and mild dish soap.
What to consider before purchase
Check if the 20 cm diameter fits your typical portion sizes and cooking needs
Ensure compatibility with your specific kitchen stovetop type
Consider the weight of cast iron cookware for daily handling
Verify storage space available in your kitchen cabinets
Usage recommendations: To maintain the quality of your KRISBERG enamelled cast iron frying pan, avoid thermal shock by never plunging a hot pan into cold water. Hand washing is strongly recommended to preserve the enamel finish over time, and stacking the pan with other cookware should be done carefully with protective pads to prevent surface scratching.
