## Long description

The KWB 032900 Taping Knife with Blue Plastic Handle and 14 cm Blade Width is a reliable professional tool designed for construction, renovation, and interior finishing work. Featuring a functional design with toothing all round on each side with different toothing, this tool allows for efficient application of glue, tiling adhesive in various thicknesses, and screed. The durable blue plastic handle provides a secure and ergonomic grip, ensuring precise handling during demanding tasks.
Advantages
This taping knife offers exceptional versatility thanks to its all-round toothing configuration, which includes different teeth sizes on each side for varied adhesive and screed application depths. The construction incorporates a sturdy blade and a robust plastic handle designed to withstand regular job site use. Its balanced proportions and comfortable grip reduce hand fatigue during extended working sessions, making it suitable for both professional craftsmen and DIY users.
Suitable for
Applying tile adhesive in various thicknesses
Spreading glue evenly across surfaces
Working with floor screed during preparation
Interior finishing and surface preparation tasks
When it may not be suitable
This tool may not be appropriate for fine finishing or smoothing applications where a flat, non-toothed blade is required, as the integrated teeth will leave ridges in the material. Additionally, it is not designed for heavy-duty demolition or scraping of hardened concrete and thick structural coatings.
Key specifications
Blade width: 14 cm
Handle material: Durable blue plastic
Design: Toothed all round with different toothing on each side
Application purpose: Applying glue, tiling adhesive in various thicknesses, and screed
How to use
Select the appropriate side of the toothed blade depending on the desired thickness of the adhesive or screed layer. Hold the tool firmly by the blue plastic handle and draw it across the substrate at a consistent angle to distribute the material evenly. Ensure the surface is clean and primed before application. After use, clean the blade thoroughly with water or an appropriate solvent depending on the applied material to prevent hardening on the surface.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the specific toothing dimensions meet your requirements for adhesive or screed application
Consider the 14 cm blade width in relation to the scale of your intended project
Assess whether a toothed spreading tool matches your specific tiling or flooring workflow
Usage recommendations: Clean the blade immediately after every use to maintain the integrity of the toothing and prevent material buildup. Store the tool in a dry environment to protect it from moisture and potential corrosion.
