## Long description

The Leatt Handlebar Kit Launch Control 6.0 O35mm Bicycle Handlebar with Grips Blast High Rise 38mm 9 Degree Backsweep 800mm Width is a comprehensive cockpit upgrade designed to improve your bicycle control, precision steering, and overall comfort during aggressive trail and mountain riding. This kit combines a robust 35mm clamp diameter handlebar with matching grips, providing a secure and ergonomic interface between rider and bike.
Advantages
This handlebar kit offers exceptional structural integrity and durability to withstand the demanding conditions of intense mountain biking. The inclusion of matching grips ensures a cohesive setup that minimizes hand fatigue and enhances grip security in various weather conditions. The generous width and rise geometry promote an aggressive yet comfortable riding posture, allowing for better weight distribution and improved bike handling across technical terrain.
Suitable for
Aggressive trail riding
Mountain biking
Enduro and all-mountain cycling
Upgrading bicycle cockpit control and ergonomics
When it may not be suitable
This kit may not be suitable for cyclists riding narrow-handlebar disciplines such as road cycling, urban commuting on tight city lanes, or cross-country racing where a narrower profile is preferred. Additionally, it requires a stem compatible with a 35mm clamp diameter.
Key specifications
Clamp diameter: 35mm
Width: 800mm
Rise: 38mm high rise
Backsweep: 9 degrees
Includes matching grips
How to use
To install the Leatt Handlebar Kit Launch Control 6.0, first remove your existing handlebar and grips from the stem and controls. Mount the handlebar into a compatible 35mm stem, centering it carefully and adjusting the rotation to your preferred upsweep and backsweep angle before evenly torquing the stem faceplate bolts to manufacturer specifications. Reinstall your brake levers, shifters, and other controls, and slide the included matching grips onto the handlebar ends, securing them properly.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your current bicycle stem has a 35mm clamp diameter or budget for a new stem if you are upgrading from a 31.8mm system.
Assess whether an 800mm handlebar width suits your shoulder width and riding style, keeping in mind that it can be cut down if necessary.
Check cable lengths on your bicycle to ensure they accommodate the wider stance and 38mm rise.
Usage recommendations: Regularly inspect the handlebar and stem clamp area for any signs of wear, impact damage, or loose bolts, and ensure that torque specifications are checked periodically to maintain safe riding conditions.
