The Lindy DisplayPort 1.4 EDID Emulator Adapter provides a stable EDID connection for systems that experience signal interruptions with AV equipment such as KVMs, extenders, splitters and switches. Its compact plastic housing and LED indicators simplify installation, while support for high resolutions — up to 7680x4320@30Hz or 3840x2160@144Hz HDR (via cloning) — plus HDCP 2.2 and DPCP 2.0 pass-through, make it suitable for use with Ultra HD monitors, displays and source devices. The adapter can operate in headless mode to simulate a connected monitor, or clone EDID data from a DisplayPort display in under 10 seconds. When used with the preset EDID, the device provides common resolution and timing combinations. Note: in headless mode a reboot may default the output to 3840x2160@60Hz, 4:2:2, 8-bit.
