The unshielded U/UTP construction achieves required electrophysical performance (NExT, FExT, etc.) without shielding. Its flat ribbon form factor and thin, flexible construction make it suitable for installations in restricted or limited spaces. RJ-45 connectors on both ends feature gold-plated contacts and a snagless strain-relief design; cables are manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and supplied individually in a polybag.
