The cable supports bandwidths up to 500 MHz and is built with S/FTP shielding — an overall braided shield plus foil around each twisted pair — to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity in congested installations. The grey TPE jacket offers greater flexibility and higher impact and tear resistance than standard PVC, while gold-plated contacts and a snagless connector design ensure durable, low-loss RJ‑45 terminations suitable for repeated plugging and unplugging.
