## Long description

The Networking Cable LogiLink 1.5m RJ-45 Cat5e Green is a reliable solution for connecting network devices in homes and offices. Measuring 1.5 meters in length, this Cat5e patch cable is designed to support fast and stable data transmission for various networking applications. Featuring RJ-45 male connectors on both ends and a vibrant green color, it integrates easily into existing setups while offering the quality expected from LogiLink.
Advantages
This networking cable is built to ensure peak signal quality and ease of use. It features a molded boot that acts as a strain relief and prevents cable snags during installation or disconnection. Conforming to current industry standards such as TIA/EIA 578A and T578B wiring specifications, the cable consists of four unshielded twisted pairs of wires. The U/UTP shielding construction provides essential protection against interference, ensuring consistent performance for everyday network tasks.
Suitable for
Connecting computers, printers, and smart TVs to a network switch or router
Setting up home office and small business local area networks
Fast and Gigabit Ethernet performance applications
Organizing network connections with color-coded cables
When it may not be suitable
This cable may not be ideal for industrial environments that require heavy-duty shielded cabling to combat severe electromagnetic interference. Additionally, the 1.5-meter length is intended for short-distance connections and will not be suitable for runs requiring longer spans between devices.
Key specifications
Cable standard: Cat5e
Cable length: 1.5 m
Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
Connector gender: Male on both ends
Cable shielding: U/UTP (UTP)
Wire construction: Four 26 AWG unshielded twisted pairs
How to use
To use the networking cable, insert one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your networking device, such as a router, switch, or modem. Insert the other RJ-45 connector into the network port of your target device, such as a computer, network-attached storage, or game console. Ensure both connectors click securely into place to establish a stable connection.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the 1.5-meter length is sufficient for the distance between your connected devices
Check that your network equipment utilizes standard RJ-45 Ethernet ports
Confirm whether Cat5e performance meets your current bandwidth and speed requirements
Usage recommendations: Handle the cable with care by gripping the connector housing rather than pulling on the wire itself when disconnecting. Avoid sharp bends or pinching the cable under furniture to maintain optimal signal integrity over time.
