Constructed from uniform-mass opal glass that is non-porous, lightweight and durable. The plate resists odors and acidic or alkaline foods, is 100% recyclable and is manufactured using a low-waste process. It can be used for hot dishes and is safe for microwave use up to 130°C.

The opal glass construction provides increased mechanical strength — approximately three times stronger than ceramic and five times stronger than ordinary glass — and breaks into fine, non-sharp fragments if damaged.
