## Summary description

Reliable 20-meter network patch cable by Mcab featuring U/UTP unshielded twisted pair design and Cat5e performance standards. Designed for stable and efficient wired internet and local area network (LAN) connections between routers, switches, computers, and other network devices.

## Long description

The Mcab Patch Cable U/UTP 20m Cat5e Network Ethernet Cable is a reliable 20-meter networking solution designed to establish stable and efficient wired internet and local area network connections. Featuring an unshielded twisted pair design and Cat5e performance standards, this Ethernet cable ensures consistent data transmission between routers, switches, computers, and various other network devices.
Advantages
This network cable provides a generous 20-meter length that allows for flexible placement of devices across larger rooms or office spaces without signal degradation. The Cat5e performance standards support reliable speeds for everyday internet browsing, streaming, and file transfers within a local area network. Its standard RJ45 connectivity ensures broad compatibility with a wide range of networking hardware, making it a practical choice for home and office setups.
Suitable for
Connecting desktop computers and laptops to routers or wall sockets
Linking network switches and patch panels within a local area network
Setting up wired internet connections in larger rooms or across office spaces
Connecting smart TVs, gaming consoles, and network-attached storage devices
When it may not be suitable, this unshielded Cat5e cable might lack the necessary protection against electromagnetic interference in environments with heavy industrial electrical equipment. For extreme long-distance runs or high-density enterprise data centers requiring gigabit-plus speeds over shielded infrastructure, higher category cables like Cat6a or fiber optic solutions would be more appropriate.
Key specifications
Cable type: Network Ethernet patch cable
Length: 20 meters
Shielding type: U/UTP unshielded twisted pair
Performance standard: Cat5e
Compatible devices: Routers, switches, computers, and network peripherals
How to use
To use this Ethernet cable, simply insert one of the RJ45 connectors into the LAN port of your network source device, such as a router, modem, or switch. Take the other end of the 20-meter cable and plug it firmly into the Ethernet port of your target device, such as a computer, gaming console, or smart TV. Ensure the connectors click securely into place to maintain a stable physical connection for data transfer.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that a 20-meter length is sufficient for your specific routing path without creating excessive cable slack
Check that your network devices are compatible with standard RJ45 Ethernet connections
Assess your network speed requirements to ensure Cat5e performance meets your usage needs
Usage recommendations: Route the cable safely along walls or baseboards to prevent tripping hazards and avoid sharp bends or heavy objects resting on the cable to maintain optimal signal integrity over time.
