Advantages
This Mcab patch cable offers a dependable connection for local area networks, ensuring consistent data transfer between devices without requiring complex installation. The 7-meter length provides extended reach, allowing users to connect peripherals that are located further apart from routers or wall outlets. Its standard RJ45 connectivity ensures broad compatibility with most modern networking hardware.

Linking network switches and broadband routers
Setting up home office and small business wired internet connections
Connecting network-attached storage and printers to a router
When it may not be suitable
This cable may not be suitable for high-density enterprise environments that require shielded cables to prevent electromagnetic interference. Additionally, it is not recommended for outdoor installations or long-distance exterior runs, as it lacks weather-resistant exterior shielding.
Key specifications
Cable type: U/UTP unshielded twisted pair network Ethernet cord
Category: Category 5e
Length: 7 meters
Application: Local area network connectivity
How to use
To use the cable, insert one RJ45 connector into the Ethernet port of your networking device, such as a computer or printer, and plug the other end into an available port on your router, switch, or wall socket. Ensure the connectors click securely into place to maintain a stable physical connection. Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling during installation to preserve cable integrity.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that a 7-meter length is sufficient for your specific routing distance
Check if your network setup requires shielded cables for interference protection
Confirm that your devices feature standard RJ45 Ethernet ports
Usage recommendations: Route the cable safely along walls or under furniture to prevent tripping hazards and physical damage. Avoid pinching the cable under heavy objects or coiling it too tightly, which can affect long-term performance.
