## Long description

The Mercodan Cat6a S/FTP Network Cable Grey 0.25 m is a high-performance networking solution designed for reliable high-speed data transmission and secure ethernet connections in local area networks. Measuring 0.25 meters in length and colored in a neutral grey, this cable is engineered to minimize electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal integrity for demanding network environments.
Advantages
The Mercodan Cat6a S/FTP network cable provides exceptional signal quality through its advanced shielding design, which effectively reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Its short 0.25-meter length helps eliminate cable clutter in dense patching areas such as server racks, network cabinets, and switchboards. Built with durable materials, it maintains reliable performance and secure connectivity for high-speed data transfers in both office and home network setups.
Suitable for
Connecting network switches to patch panels in server racks
Linking routers and modems in compact desktop setups
Short-distance ethernet connections in structured cabling systems
High-speed local area network environments requiring stable data transmission
When it may not be suitable
This cable is not suitable for long-distance network connections due to its fixed 0.25-meter length, making it impractical for bridging rooms or connecting devices placed far apart. Additionally, applications requiring flexible or visible desktop routing may find this length too short for comfortable installation.
Key specifications
Cable type: Cat6a S/FTP
Length: 0.25 m
Color: Grey
Application: Local area network data transmission
How to use
To use the Mercodan Cat6a S/FTP network cable, insert one RJ45 connector into the ethernet port of your network device, such as a switch, router, or patch panel, until it clicks securely into place. Connect the opposite end to the corresponding port on your target networking hardware. Ensure that the connectors are pushed in straight and fully seated to maintain a reliable and secure data link.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the 0.25-meter length is sufficient for the distance between your connected devices
Confirm that your network hardware supports Cat6a ethernet standards for optimal performance
Check available space in your rack or desktop setup to ensure a tidy cable management layout
Usage recommendations: Route the cable carefully without sharp bends or excessive pulling forces to preserve internal shielding integrity and ensure long-term network reliability.
