## Summary description

Mercodan 371917002 network cable featuring Cat6a performance and S/FTP shielding in a blue color. Designed for reliable high-speed data transmission and stable network connectivity in professional or home networking environments.

## Long description

The Mercodan 371917002 Network Cable Cat6a S/FTP Blue 0.25m is a professional-grade patch cable engineered to deliver reliable high-speed data transmission and stable network connectivity. With its Category 6a performance and advanced S/FTP shielding, this blue network cable minimizes electromagnetic interference and signal degradation, ensuring optimal data integrity for demanding networking environments.
Advantages
This network cable provides exceptional signal quality and reduces crosstalk through its specialized S/FTP shielding design, which protects internal conductors from external electrical noise. The Cat6a specification supports high bandwidth requirements for modern data transmission, making it a dependable choice for continuous network uptime. Its compact length helps maintain neat cable management in congested routing spaces, while the vibrant blue color allows for effortless visual identification within complex setups.
Suitable for
Connecting network switches, routers, and patch panels in server racks
Short-distance patching between desktop computers and wall outlets
Home and office local area network installations requiring high-speed connectivity
Environments with potential electromagnetic interference needing shielded cable solutions
When it may not be suitable
This cable is not designed for long-distance runs or outdoor installations exposed to moisture and direct sunlight. Additionally, the 0.25-meter length is too short for bridging distances between distant rooms or furniture placements.
Key specifications
Cable type: Network patch cable
Category: Cat6a
Shielding: S/FTP
Length: 0.25 meters
Color: Blue
How to use
Insert the RJ45 connector of the network cable into the Ethernet port of your networking device, computer, or peripheral until you hear a secure click. Ensure the release clip is facing downward during insertion. To disconnect, gently press the plastic retention clip down and pull the plug straight out from the port to avoid damaging the internal pins.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the 0.25-meter length is sufficient for your specific connection distance
Check if your hardware supports Cat6a performance standards
Confirm whether shielded S/FTP cabling is required for your specific network environment
Usage recommendations: Route the cable carefully without bending it sharply beyond its minimum bend radius to maintain long-term signal integrity and prevent physical damage to the internal conductors.
