## Long description

The Mercodan Cat6a S/FTP Network Cable 0.25m Black is a reliable patch cable designed to deliver high-speed data transmission and stable internet connectivity for modern networking environments. Measuring 0.25 meters in length, this compact black cable is specifically engineered to reduce clutter and connect devices over short distances efficiently. It features robust double shielding to protect signals from external electromagnetic interference, ensuring consistent performance in demanding home and office setups.
Advantages
This network cable provides exceptional signal integrity thanks to its advanced S/FTP double shielding, which effectively blocks crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. The short 0.25-meter length prevents cable tangling and excess slack behind desks, racks, and entertainment centers. Built with durable materials, it maintains reliable high-frequency data flow and supports demanding network applications without degradation over time.
Suitable for
Connecting patch panels to network switches in server racks
Linking routers, modems, and desktop computers in compact home office setups
Connecting smart TVs and gaming consoles to wall outlets over short distances
High-density networking environments where cable management is critical
When it may not be suitable
This cable is not suitable for long-distance connections between rooms or devices separated by more than 0.25 meters. It should also be avoided if you require a different color scheme to match pre-existing cable management systems or interior aesthetics.
Key specifications
Cable type: Cat6a S/FTP
Length: 0.25 meters
Color: Black
Shielding: Double shielded (S/FTP)
How to use
Inspect the connectors on both ends of the cable for any visible debris or damage before installation. Insert one RJ45 connector into the Ethernet port of your networking device, such as a switch, router, or computer, until you hear a secure click. Repeat the process with the remaining connector on the other device. Ensure the cable is not excessively bent or pinched near the connectors to maintain optimal signal transmission.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that a 0.25-meter length is sufficient for your specific connection distance
Check that your devices use standard RJ45 Ethernet ports
Ensure the black color fits your aesthetic or organizational requirements
For optimal network performance, avoid routing the cable tightly around sharp corners and keep it away from heavy power cables to prevent potential interference.
