The METZ CONNECT REGplus insert in grey is an unequipped termination unit designed for modular mounting on a TH35 DIN EN 60715 rail. Intended for structured cabling installations, this one‑module insert provides a keystone‑style connection point compatible with Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a Ethernet modules. The 1HP width allows compact installation of multiple REG inserts in standard electrical distribution panels and includes an integrated dust protection cover in matching colour.
Advantages
This insert supports a variety of compatible modules for both top and bottom 45° cable entry, offering flexible cable routing. When mounted as a device of protection class I, an integrated equipotential bonding plate provides direct earthing via the rail; for installations requiring protective insulation (protection class II) the bonding plate can be removed. A protective cover reduces the risk of direct contact, and the slim 1HP design maximizes space efficiency in distributor panels.
