## Long description

Sold as a matched set, they allow restoration of tactile feedback and consistent appearance across multiple units, useful for repair work, refurbishment projects, and inventory of spare parts.
Advantages
The replacement knobs are manufactured to match the size and mounting profile of original controls for a secure fit without modification. Supplied in a set of ten, they enable simultaneous replacement on several radios or the stocking of spare parts for future maintenance. Their construction provides reliable grip and control to restore smooth adjustment of volume and tuning functions.
Suitable for
Repair shops performing maintenance or refurbishment of Albrecht NC-553 radios
Radio owners replacing worn or missing knobs
Hobbyists restoring vintage or used radio equipment
Fleet maintenance where multiple units require consistent controls
Key specifications
Quantity: set of 10 knobs
Compatibility: designed for radios compatible with Albrecht NC-553 control dimensions
Function: replacement for volume and tuning controls
Fit type: direct-fit replacement intended to match original mounting and shaft interface
Material characteristics: durable molded construction for repeatable use
How to use
Remove the existing damaged or worn knob by gently pulling it off the control shaft or loosening any retaining screws, if present. Align the replacement knob with the control shaft so the internal mounting recess matches the shaft flat or spline, then press the knob onto the shaft until it seats fully. If the original design uses a set screw or clip, secure the knob per the radio manufacturer’s instructions. Verify smooth rotation and that the control stops and detents (if applicable) function as expected before reassembling any panels.
Usage recommendations
For a reliable installation, inspect the control shaft for corrosion or damage before fitting the new knob. Clean the shaft with a suitable contact cleaner and ensure the shaft geometry matches the knob’s mounting profile. Keep a few spare knobs on hand for routine maintenance and quicker turnaround in repair tasks.
