## Long description

MOMENT FIX wood adhesive in a 385 g cartridge is formulated for bonding and repairing wooden parts and other absorbent construction materials indoors. The solvent-free, low-odour formula provides strong initial tack and final strength suitable for assembly and restoration work on wood, wood-based panels and similarly absorbent substrates; the cartridge is partly made from recycled plastic.
Advantages
The adhesive offers a high initial bond so parts do not require mechanical support during setting, very good adhesion to wood, and rapid drying on absorbent surfaces. It is solvent-free and nearly odourless, making it suitable for sensitive materials and indoor use. After curing the joint can be painted and excess adhesive is easy to remove from fresh surfaces. The cartridge shell contains recycled plastic.

How to use
Ensure bonded surfaces are clean, dry (not permanently wet), and free of dust, grease and oil. For a reliable bond, at least one surface must be porous so moisture can evaporate. Very absorbent substrates (e.g., gypsum, MDF, chipboard (not OSB), or clay brick) may dry the adhesive too quickly at the edges; pre-wet such surfaces with a spray bottle or damp cloth to improve bonding. Remove residues from decorative polyurethane panels with sandpaper or a solvent such as acetone before applying adhesive. Cut the cartridge tip, screw on the plastic nozzle and bevel the nozzle end; insert the cartridge into a caulking gun and apply adhesive to one side. For uneven surfaces apply adhesive in patches; for larger surfaces use wavy beads for initial contact, for smaller areas use straight lines. When working outdoors apply vertical beads. Position panels 1–2 cm from the bonding area, slide into the desired position and press firmly. If the substrate is smooth and rigid, panels can be glued directly to the surface. For uneven substrates consider a mechanically fixed substructure made from narrow wood strips or rigid polystyrene/PU strips (width 5–10 cm, thickness 5–20 mm, spacing 30–65 cm depending on panels). Clean fresh adhesive with a damp cloth; cured adhesive must be removed mechanically.
Usage recommendations
Not suitable for continuously water-submerged bonds. For safe use, release the caulking gun trigger after each application to prevent adhesive flow and follow the stated working temperature range. Handle cured material only mechanically.
