Compact and lightweight at 43 g, it supports wired USB and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity with up to an 80 m range, offers IP65 protection, and runs on a built-in Li‑Ion battery. The device features Acuscan image processing and Newland 2D megapixel scanning technology to capture high-density, distorted and closely placed barcodes.

The WD2 combines a comfortable adjustable hand strap with an integrated thumb trigger to enable continuous scanning without putting the scanner down.
