## Long description

The Nikon Action EX 8 x 40 CF binoculars provide 8x magnification with a 40 mm objective diameter, delivering bright, detailed images across a wide field of view. Featuring Porro prisms and multicoated optics, these binoculars are designed to offer good depth perception and contrast for observing wildlife, sports and landscapes. The compact housing and blackout finish contribute to a practical, outdoor-ready instrument with dimensions of approximately 187 x 138 x 63 mm and a lightweight feel for handheld use.
Advantages
The Porro prism design gives a broad stereo image and enhanced depth perception compared with roof-prism alternatives. A 5 mm exit pupil supports comfortable viewing in varying light conditions, while the 40 mm objective lenses capture sufficient light for clear images at dawn and dusk. The binoculars combine reliable optical performance with a durable construction that suits frequent outdoor use. Compact dimensions and a moderate weight make them convenient to carry during hikes or sporting events.

How to use
Hold the binoculars steady with both hands and adjust the central focus wheel to bring the subject into sharp focus. Use the diopter adjustment, typically located on one eyepiece, to compensate for differences between your eyes; first close or cover the eye with the diopter adjustment and focus using the central wheel for the other eye, then adjust the diopter and fine-tune both eyes together. For extended observation, support your elbows on a stable surface or use a tripod adapter if steadying is required.
Usage recommendations
Avoid exposing the optics to prolonged direct sunlight and store the binoculars in a dry, dust-free case when not in use. Clean lenses with a soft microfiber cloth and, if necessary, use lens cleaning fluid designed for coated optics. Regularly check mechanical parts for smooth operation and keep the instrument protected from strong impacts.
