## Long description

The Merrell Moab 3 GORE-TEX Hiking Shoes in olive are designed for hiking, trekking, and various outdoor activities. Engineered to deliver reliable performance, these shoes combine weather protection with durable traction to help you navigate rugged trails and uneven terrain with confidence. Featuring a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, they keep your feet dry in wet conditions while maintaining breathability for all-day comfort during extended walks and outdoor excursions.
Advantages
The incorporation of a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane ensures that moisture is kept out effectively, preventing rain and puddles from dampening your feet during outdoor adventures. The construction supports long-lasting wear on challenging paths, reducing foot fatigue and offering reliable stability on rocky or slippery surfaces. The olive color provides a natural, outdoor-friendly aesthetic that blends seamlessly into natural environments while delivering the high functional standards expected from dedicated hiking footwear.
Suitable for
Day hikes and weekend trekking trips on rugged trails
Walking on uneven, rocky, or unpaved terrain
Outdoor activities in wet or damp weather conditions
Recreational walking and nature exploration
When it may not be suitable
These shoes may not be ideal for formal occasions, indoor office environments, or casual urban settings where technical hiking footwear is unnecessary. Additionally, they might not provide sufficient ventilation for extremely hot desert climates or high-intensity indoor gym workouts.

How to use
To prepare your Merrell Moab 3 GORE-TEX Hiking Shoes for use, ensure they are properly laced to secure your foot and provide optimal ankle and arch support. Wear them with moisture-wicking hiking socks to enhance comfort and prevent blisters during long walks. After your hike, remove any loose dirt or mud with a soft brush and lukewarm water, then let them dry naturally at room temperature away from direct heat sources.
What to consider before purchase
Verify your correct shoe size, accounting for thicker hiking socks if necessary
Assess your primary terrain types to ensure these hiking shoes match your intended use
Consider the waterproof membrane benefits against your local climate conditions
Usage recommendations: Regularly clean the outer surface and reapply appropriate waterproofing treatments as needed to maintain the longevity and performance of the GORE-TEX membrane. Store the shoes in a cool, dry place when not in use.
