Combining durable materials with advanced waterproof construction, these hiking shoes ensure that your feet remain dry and protected during wet weather conditions. Built for outdoor enthusiasts, they offer a combination of support, traction, and breathability suited for extended wear during trekking and hiking activities.
Advantages
These hiking shoes incorporate advanced GORE-TEX waterproof technology, which effectively seals out water while allowing moisture to escape, keeping feet dry and comfortable in damp environments. The design focuses on delivering dependable stability and robust underfoot support, reducing fatigue during long distance walks. Furthermore, the specialized outsole construction provides dependable traction on varied and uneven surfaces, enhancing safety and confidence on the trail.
Suitable for
Hiking on uneven trails and mountain paths
Trekking and long-distance walking adventures
Outdoor activities in wet or damp weather conditions
Daily wear for outdoor enthusiasts
When it may not be suitable
These shoes may not be ideal for warm indoor environments or high-temperature summer conditions due to the waterproof membrane, which can limit breathability compared to non-waterproof mesh alternatives. They are also not designed for technical mountaineering or specialized climbing activities that require stiff alpine boots.

How to use
To use the Merrell Moab 3 GORE-TEX hiking shoes, ensure you select the correct size with adequate room for trekking socks. Lace the shoes securely to lock the heel in place and provide optimal ankle and midfoot support before setting out on your hike. After use in muddy or wet conditions, remove dirt using a soft brush and mild soap, allowing them to dry naturally away from direct heat sources.
What to consider before purchase
Verify your correct shoe size, accounting for thicker hiking socks
Evaluate your primary weather conditions and terrain types
Consider whether a waterproof membrane is necessary for your typical activities
For optimal longevity and performance, clean your hiking shoes regularly after use and store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
