The Noctua NF-S12A PWM is a 120 mm case fan engineered for quiet and efficient chassis cooling. Featuring the third-generation S12 straight-blade design, AAO frame and Anti-Stall Knobs, it improves airflow-to-noise performance compared to its predecessor while offering PWM automatic speed control, SSO2 bearing and a durable metal bearing shell. The fan is supplied with a Low-Noise Adaptor and a range of cabling options for flexible installation.
Advantages
The NF-S12A PWM combines an award-winning straight blade geometry with Anti-Stall Knobs and an Advanced Acoustic Optimisation (AAO) frame to increase efficiency and reduce tonal noise. The custom NE-FD1 PWM IC with Smooth Commutation Drive reduces switching noise at low speeds, while the SSO2 bearing and CNC-milled brass bearing shell provide improved stabilization, longevity and consistent performance. Integrated anti-vibration pads minimise vibration transmission and the Low-Noise Adaptor allows reducing the maximum speed from 1200 to 900 RPM.
