The NH-U14S TR5-SP6 is a 140mm premium quiet CPU cooler designed for workstations and servers based on AMD Threadripper and Epyc processors that use TR5/SP6 (sTRX5/sWRX9) sockets. Building on the proven TR4-SP3 platform, this revision features a large heatsink with a 70 x 56 mm full-cover copper contact surface, six heatpipes and two NF-A15 140mm PWM fans to deliver high cooling performance with low noise. The package includes pre-applied NT-H2 thermal compound and the updated SecuFirm2™ mounting system for TR5/SP6.
Advantages
The enlarged contact surface is tailored to the large integrated heat-spreaders of TR5/SP6 CPUs, optimising heat transfer from the processor to the heatpipes and fins. Dual NF-A15 140mm fans in a push/pull configuration provide superior cooling efficiency while keeping acoustic levels low. PWM support and the included splitter cable allow automatic, synchronized fan control from a single motherboard header. The SecuFirm2™ mounting system has been updated to meet increased pressure requirements and offers offset mounting options to improve clearance on various motherboard layouts.
