NRGkick Smart Attachment Type 2 is a black Type 2 socket adapter for use with the NRGkick charging system and compatible Type 2 charging stations. Rated for up to 32 A (maximum charging power up to 22 kW), the Smart Attachment connects to the NRGkick Connector Unit and is recognised automatically by the charging unit. It includes built-in safety and monitoring features and is supplied as a single Smart Attachment accessory.
Advantages
The Smart Attachment offers temperature monitoring on each phase pin and connection overheating protection so the NRGkick can independently reduce or stop charging if excessive heat is detected. Automatic hot-unplug detection interrupts current flow before contacts separate to prevent arcing. The adapter detects wrongly wired sockets and signals faults via LED indicators on both the charging unit and the Connector Unit.
