Smart Attachment Set Standard (EU) — a set of intelligent socket adapters for the NRGkick charging unit, designed for use with EU sockets. The set includes three Smart Attachments that connect to the NRGkick Connector Unit and provide automatic recognition, phase-specific temperature monitoring and built-in safety features to prevent dangerous arcing, detect incorrectly wired sockets and regulate charging current according to the attachment’s rating and applicable national limits.
Advantages
The Smart Attachment Set provides temperature monitoring on each phase pin and dual monitoring for the domestic E+F “Schuko” adapter, allowing the NRGkick to reduce or stop charging if a socket overheats. The patented connector system interrupts current flow before contacts separate to avoid arcing when unplugged during charging. Incorrect socket wiring is detected and signalled via LED on the charging unit and Connector Unit, while automatic recognition of each Smart Attachment ensures the charging current never exceeds the approved maximum.
