Smart Attachment Set Standard (IT) — intelligent socket adapters for the NRGkick charging unit, supplied as three interchangeable Smart Attachments that allow connection to different socket types and enforce safe charging limits. The set includes adapters for 16A 5-pole, 16A 3-pole and Type L 10A (IT) sockets and is compatible with the NRGkick Connector Unit. The adapters are designed for simple handling and automatic recognition by the charging unit to ensure the charging current never exceeds the permitted value.
Advantages
The Smart Attachment Set provides phase-level temperature monitoring and dual-pin monitoring on the domestic-socket adapter, enabling the NRGkick to reduce charging current automatically if a socket overheats. The design prevents arcing by interrupting current flow before contacts separate, protects against incorrectly wired sockets by detecting wiring faults and signalling them via LED, and offers an additional status LED on the Connector Unit.
