## Summary description

FTP Cat5e 0.25M gray patch cord with two RJ45 connectors for connecting computer networks, linking a PC to a data socket, or connecting a patch panel to active network elements.

## Long description

The FTP Cat5e 0.25M Gray Patch Cord with RJ45 Connectors is a reliable network cable designed for linking computer networks, connecting a personal computer to a data socket, or establishing a connection between a patch panel and active network elements. Measuring 0.25 meters in length, this compact gray patch cable provides a neat and efficient connection for short-distance networking setups, reducing cable clutter in server racks or desktop environments.
Advantages
This FTP Cat5e patch cord features foil shielding that protects transmitted data signals from electromagnetic interference and external electrical noise, ensuring a stable and reliable network connection. The factory-terminated RJ45 connectors on both ends provide plug-and-play functionality for immediate deployment in standard Ethernet environments. The short 0.25-meter length is ideal for high-density patching applications where excess cable length can hinder airflow or organization. The durable gray outer jacket blends discreetly into most office and home network installations.
Suitable for
Connecting a PC or laptop to a wall data socket
Linking patch panels to network switches and routers
Short-distance patching in server racks and network cabinets
Ethernet connections in small office and home office environments
When it may not be suitable
This patch cord is not suitable for long-distance cable runs due to its fixed 0.25-meter length. It is also not designed for outdoor installations or harsh industrial environments that require weather-resistant or heavily armored cabling.
Key specifications
Cable type: FTP Cat5e patch cord
Length: 0.25 meters
Color: Gray
Connectors: RJ45 on both ends
Shielding: Foil shielded (FTP)
How to use
To use the patch cord, insert one RJ45 connector into the network port of your device, such as a computer, router, or switch, until it clicks securely into place. Insert the opposite RJ45 connector into the corresponding data socket or patch panel port. Ensure the connectors are fully seated to maintain a stable data transmission link. When disconnecting, gently press the plastic locking tab on the connector and pull straight out to avoid damaging the latch or the port.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that a 0.25-meter length is sufficient for your specific connection distance
Ensure your network equipment supports RJ45 Cat5e connections
Check if your environment requires shielded FTP cabling to prevent interference
Usage recommendations: Handle the patch cable with care by avoiding sharp bends and excessive pulling to preserve the internal wiring and shielding integrity. Keep the cable away from heavy power lines to minimize potential signal interference.
