## Long description

Enhance your stargazing experience with the Celestron accessory kit designed specifically for the FirstScope 76 telescope. Featuring a 1.25-inch size standard, this comprehensive kit provides essential compatibility and expansion options for amateur astronomers looking to get more out of their tabletop telescope observations. The set includes carefully selected components to facilitate finding celestial targets, adjusting magnification, reducing glare from the moon, and safely transporting your equipment.
Advantages
The accessory kit significantly improves the usability of the FirstScope 76 tabletop telescope by equipping users with tools designed to simplify celestial navigation and observation. The inclusion of two distinct eyepieces allows for flexible magnification adjustments depending on the target. The specialized moon filter enhances viewing comfort and surface detail contrast by subduing high brightness. Additionally, the optical finder scope offers a wider field of view for easier target acquisition, while the durable nylon carry bag ensures convenient storage and transport for both the telescope and its accessories.
Suitable for
Amateur astronomers using the FirstScope 76 tabletop telescope
Beginners looking to expand their telescope observation capabilities
Observing the moon with reduced glare and increased contrast
Transporting and storing a compact telescope setup securely
When it may not be suitable
This accessory kit is specifically engineered for the Celestron FirstScope 76 and may not offer full compatibility or optimal performance with telescopes of different brands or varying optical designs. It is also not intended for advanced professional astrophotography or deep-sky imaging setups requiring specialized heavy-duty equipment.
Key specifications
1.25-inch size compatibility standard
12.5 mm eyepiece delivering 24x magnification
6 mm eyepiece delivering 50x magnification
Threaded moon filter for brightness reduction and contrast enhancement
5x24 optical finder scope with mounting bracket
The SkyX planetarium software on CD-ROM compatible with Windows and Mac OS
Nylon carry bag for telescope and accessories storage
How to use
To begin using the kit, attach the 5x24 finder scope to the telescope using the included tool-free bracket to help locate objects in the night sky easily. Select either the 12.5 mm or 6 mm 1.25-inch eyepiece and insert it into the telescope focuser to achieve your desired magnification level. For lunar observations, screw the moon filter directly into the base of the chosen eyepiece to reduce glare and improve surface contrast. Utilize the included software on a compatible computer to plan your observation sessions by viewing star maps and identifying constellations. When finished, pack the telescope and accessories safely into the durable nylon carrying case.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your telescope model matches the intended compatibility with the FirstScope 76
Check that your computer meets the operating system requirements for the included planetarium software CD-ROM
Ensure that a 1.25-inch focuser standard matches your optical accessories
For the best viewing results, store your optical components in the provided nylon bag in a dry environment and clean the eyepiece lenses only with specialized optical cleaning materials.
