## Long description

The Gel Deep Cycle Battery BAT412800104 12V 90Ah is a reliable energy storage solution engineered to deliver consistent and maintenance-free power for various demanding applications. Utilizing advanced gel technology, this battery ensures excellent deep discharge recovery and a prolonged service life, making it well-suited for both residential and commercial off-grid setups. Its robust construction minimizes self-discharge and handles cyclic use effectively.
Advantages
This gel deep cycle battery offers exceptional reliability and durability in cyclic applications. The electrolyte is immobilized in a gel matrix, which completely eliminates acid stratification and reduces the risk of leaks, allowing safe installation in various orientations. Furthermore, the battery requires no water additions throughout its lifespan and performs steadily across different temperature ranges, ensuring dependable backup and power supply.
Suitable for
Renewable energy systems such as solar and wind installations
UPS backup power systems for critical electronics
Marine applications including trolling motors and onboard electronics
Off-grid setups and remote power stations
When it may not be suitable
This battery may not be the optimal choice for high-drain engine starting applications in vehicles, as deep cycle batteries are designed for sustained lower-current draws rather than sudden massive surges. Additionally, if the charging system is not properly configured for gel technology, it may lead to reduced performance or lifespan.
Key specifications
Voltage: 12V
Capacity: 90Ah
Technology: Gel deep cycle
How to use
Ensure the battery is securely installed in a well-ventilated area, avoiding direct heat sources and moisture. Connect the terminals securely using appropriate cables, paying strict attention to correct polarity. Charge the battery using a compatible charger specifically designed or adjustable for gel batteries to prevent overcharging and maximize its operational lifespan.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the physical dimensions and weight fit your designated battery compartment or mounting space
Ensure your existing inverter, solar charge controller, or charger supports gel battery charging profiles
Evaluate your daily energy consumption to confirm that a 90Ah capacity meets your requirements
Usage recommendations: To achieve the maximum service life from your gel deep cycle battery, avoid discharging it beyond its recommended depth of discharge limits and recharge it promptly after use. Perform routine inspections of the terminal connections to ensure they remain clean and tight.
