## Long description

DVD storage case OMEGA 14 mm frosted clear, single-disc, model D1DFC is a slim, single-disc plastic case designed to hold and protect one standard DVD or CD. The 14 mm thickness provides a compact profile suitable for archiving, retail packaging, shipping and personal media organisation. The frosted clear finish reduces visible fingerprints and diffuses light while keeping media labels readable through the cover.
Advantages
The single-disc OMEGA case offers a balance of protection and space efficiency by combining a rigid outer shell with a low-profile design. The frosted clear material resists minor surface marks and masks smudges, helping stored discs remain visually presentable. Its standard dimensions and centre hub retention are compatible with common sleeve racks, shelving and automated packing equipment, making it practical for bulk handling and individual storage.
Suitable for (tasks / use cases)
Archiving single DVDs or CDs for libraries and media collections
Retail packaging of individual discs or promotional media
Shipping and distribution where slim, protective packaging is required
Organising personal media on shelves or in storage boxes
Compatibility with plastic sleeve racks and standard shelving systems
Key specifications
Capacity: holds one standard 120 mm DVD or CD
 Thickness: 14 mm slim profile
Material finish: frosted clear plastic for reduced gloss and visible fingerprints
Retention: centre hub to secure single disc
Form factor: slim jewel-case style suitable for shelving and sleeve racks
How to use
Place the disc on the centre hub and press gently until it clicks into place to ensure secure retention. Close the case by aligning the cover and pressing together until the edges meet; the slim profile reduces bulk for stacking and shelving. To remove the disc, press the hub to release and lift the disc by its outer edge to avoid touching the readable surface. Clean the case exterior with a soft, dry cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners that could affect the frosted finish.
Usage recommendations
Store discs vertically where possible to minimise pressure on the hub and keep cases away from prolonged direct sunlight or extreme temperatures to protect disc integrity. For archival purposes, label the frosted cover with a soft-tipped permanent marker designed for plastic surfaces.
