## Long description

The OPTIMUS Primus CampFire Cookset Stainless steel and aluminium pot set is a robust and reliable cookware collection designed specifically for outdoor cooking, camping, and hiking adventures. Crafted from durable 18/8 stainless steel and aluminium, this cookware set provides excellent durability and functionality for preparing meals in the wilderness. Featuring two pots with capacities of 1.8 and 3.0 litres, two lids with integrated colanders, and a frying pan with an integral handle, it serves as an essential companion for campers seeking reliable equipment for their outdoor kitchen setup. Both the stackable pots and the frying pan pack compactly into an included storage bag for convenient transport.
Advantages
The OPTIMUS Primus CampFire Cookset is constructed from genuine workhorse materials designed to withstand years of service in harsh outdoor conditions. The combination of durable 18/8 stainless steel and aluminium ensures long-lasting reliability and optimal performance. The frying pan features an aluminium-clad bottom that guarantees even heat distribution for precise cooking results. The large 3.0-litre pot includes a foldaway handle allowing it to be suspended securely over an open fire. For added convenience, both lids feature integrated colanders to simplify straining tasks during meal preparation, while the stackable design and included storage bag ensure compact and efficient packing for travel.
Suitable for
Camping and hiking adventures
Outdoor cooking and wilderness meal preparation
Cooking over campfires and portable camp stoves
Group camping trips requiring medium to large capacity cookware
When it may not be suitable
This cookware set may not be suitable for ultra-lightweight backpackers or solo hikers who prioritize minimizing every gram of pack weight, as the robust stainless steel and aluminium construction results in a total weight of 1.65 kg. Additionally, those who cook exclusively with extremely small pocket stoves may find the pot dimensions less compatible with micro-burners.
Key specifications
Material: Stainless steel and aluminium
Weight: 1.65 kg
Diameter: 21 cm
Pot capacities: 1.8 L and 3.0 L
Components: Two pots, two lids with integrated colanders, frying pan, and storage bag
How to use
Before first use, wash all components of the OPTIMUS Primus CampFire Cookset with warm soapy water. Place the pots or frying pan on a stable camp stove burner or suspend the large 3.0-litre pot over an open fire using its foldaway handle. Utilize the aluminium-clad frying pan for searing and frying with even heat distribution. When draining liquids, use the lids with integrated colanders for safe and easy straining. After cooking, allow the cookware to cool before cleaning, and pack the stackable items compactly inside the provided storage bag.
What to consider before purchase
Assess whether the 1.65 kg total weight aligns with your backpacking or car camping style
Verify that the 21 cm diameter fits your existing camp stove setup
Consider the meal preparation needs of your group size against the 1.8 L and 3.0 L pot capacities
Usage recommendations: To extend the lifespan of your OPTIMUS Primus CampFire Cookset, avoid overheating empty pots and pans, clean the surfaces with non-abrasive sponges after each use, and ensure the cookware is completely dry before storing it in the included bag.
