The Snap® ballpoint pen features a minimalist, purist design combined with a pearl lacquer finish that emphasizes the pen’s high-grade appearance. The retractable ballpoint has a push mechanism integrated into the clip: when the refill is extended it locks into the push-button mechanism, and pressing the upper part of the clip unlocks the mechanism to retract the refill. The barrel is mainly made of recyclable metal with a cylindrically shaped push-piece and aluminum body that transition into a conical brass tip. The heavier brass tip shifts the center of gravity toward the point for ergonomically optimized writing. The pen uses an exchangeable king-size refill with a soft medium (M) tip and blue ink that is more document-proof according to ISO 12757-2.
