The Pentax PAPILIO II 8.5x21 is a compact Porro-prism binocular designed for close observation of nature. It offers 8.5x magnification, a 21 mm objective diameter and a remarkable close-focus distance of 50 cm, making it especially suitable for studying flowers, insects and other small subjects. The binoculars use BaK-4 prisms and fully multi-coated optics with aspherical eyepiece elements to provide clear, edge-to-edge images in a lightweight, rubber-covered housing.
