## Long description

The PLANET CSG-800 is an enterprise-grade cybersecurity gateway and network controller built into a durable blue metal 1U rackmount housing. Designed to manage network traffic efficiently in professional IT environments, this device offers high performance and stable connectivity. Featuring dual 10G WAN interfaces, a quad-core processor, and advanced threat defense mechanisms, it delivers robust routing, high-availability VPN support, and comprehensive network security for modern businesses and critical infrastructure.
Advantages
This network gateway provides enterprise threat protection through built-in intrusion detection and prevention, Layer 7 deep packet inspection, and stateful packet inspection firewalls. It ensures continuous security monitoring with event reporting and automatic signature updates. The zero-trust access control incorporates multi-factor authentication and certificate-based security. Administrators benefit from hybrid virtual private network capabilities, dual-WAN load balancing with automatic failover, and high availability configurations. Furthermore, the integrated access point controller, captive portal, and RADIUS support simplify network management across distributed office environments.
Suitable for
Enterprise network security and traffic management
Connecting multi-site branch offices via hybrid virtual private networks
High-speed fiber and copper internet integration using 10G interfaces
Centralized wireless access point control and guest portal management
Data center and server routing with pure routing mode deployment
When it may not be suitable
This device may not be necessary for small home networks or basic residential internet setups that do not require enterprise-level cybersecurity controls, advanced routing protocols, or rackmounted hardware configurations. Similarly, environments lacking professional IT staff to manage complex security policies, virtual private network tunnels, and access controls might find this advanced enterprise controller overly complex.
