The OBEX BC Mips is a backcountry ski helmet built for durability, safety and traceability on remote adventures. It combines a thicker polycarbonate shell for improved robustness with integrated systems that aid rescue and medical response, while remaining compatible with communication headsets and POC goggles.
Advantages
The helmet includes an NFC twICEme® medical ID chip to provide rescuers with vital medical information at the scene. A RECCO® reflector improves searchability during avalanches or rescue operations. Mips rotational impact protection reduces rotational forces in certain impacts, and the thicker polycarbonate shell increases resistance to wear and impact compared with the Obex Mips. Ventilation is fully adjustable and ear pads are removable for comfort and flexibility.
