## Long description

The Ski Helmet POC AURIC CUT BC MIPS in black matte is a specialized head protection solution designed specifically for backcountry skiing and snowboarding. Engineered to meet the demands of off-piste and all-mountain enthusiasts, this helmet integrates advanced safety technologies with a durable construction to withstand the challenges of remote mountain terrain. Featuring a sleek black matte finish, it combines professional-grade protection with a modern aesthetic, making it an essential piece of equipment for winter sports participants seeking reliability and performance.
Advantages
This ski helmet incorporates industry-leading MIPS rotational impact protection technology, which is engineered to reduce rotational forces transferred to the brain during angled impacts. The robust outer shell offers exceptional durability against repeated impacts and harsh environmental elements, ensuring long-lasting performance. Designed specifically for backcountry and off-piste conditions, the helmet provides extended coverage compared to traditional alpine models, safeguarding critical areas of the head during demanding descents and unpredictable snow conditions.
Suitable for
Backcountry skiing and off-piste adventures
All-mountain snowboarding and winter sports
Skiers and snowboarders requiring advanced rotational impact protection
When it may not be suitable for casual resort skiers who prefer ultra-lightweight, minimal helmets with integrated audio systems, this model focuses primarily on robust backcountry safety and extended coverage. It may also feel heavier or warmer than standard entry-level helmets designed exclusively for groomed runs.
Key specifications
Model: POC Auric Cut BC MIPS
Color: Black Matte
Application: Backcountry skiing and snowboarding
Safety Technology: MIPS rotational impact protection
To use the ski helmet correctly, ensure that the sizing matches your head circumference by adjusting the internal fit system for a snug and secure placement. Fasten the chin strap firmly under your jaw before entering any ski slope or backcountry route, leaving enough space to comfortably insert one finger beneath the strap. Regularly inspect the outer shell and straps for signs of wear or damage to maintain optimal protective performance during every use.
What to consider before purchase
Verify your exact head measurement to select the correct helmet size
Assess your primary skiing environment to ensure it matches backcountry and off-piste requirements
Consider compatibility with your preferred ski goggles for a seamless fit
Usage recommendations: Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use. Avoid applying stickers, paints, or solvents to the shell, as these can compromise the integrity of the materials. Replace the helmet immediately if it has sustained a significant impact, even if no visible damage is present.
