Polymaker Polylactic Acid (PLA) White 1.75 mm 750 g is a ready-to-use 3D printing filament supplied on a 750 g spool and designed for FDM/FFF printers that accept 1.75 mm filament. This PLA variant, branded PolyMax™ PLA, uses nano-reinforcement technology to increase ductility compared with standard PLA grades, providing improved resistance to brittle fracture while maintaining the ease of printing and dimensional stability expected from PLA materials.

The reinforced PolyMax™ PLA formulation bends before breaking, offering greater ductility and improved mechanical performance compared with conventional PLA. How to use
Load the 1.75 mm filament into any compatible FDM/FFF extruder and set the nozzle temperature between 190 and 230 °C depending on part detail and printer characteristics. Use a heated bed set between 25 and 60 °C if available; many prints adhere sufficiently without heating. Enable part cooling fan for better bridging and surface quality. For bowden (indirect) extruders, set retraction to about 3 mm at 40 mm/s; for direct drive systems use about 1 mm retraction at 20 mm/s. Adjust print speed toward 40–60 mm/s to balance quality and production time.
Usage recommendations
Store the spool in a dry environment or sealed container with desiccant to prevent moisture absorption. If the filament has absorbed moisture, dry at 55 °C for approximately 6 hours before printing. For applications needing higher heat resistance, consider switching to a PETG variant; for standard PolyMax™ PLA parts expect a glass transition temperature near 60 °C and plan part use accordingly.
