Polymaker PD02001 (PolyFlex™ TPU90) is a black thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) filament 1.75 mm in diameter, supplied in a 750 g spool. How to use
For best results, load the 1.75 mm PolyFlex™ TPU90 filament into a printer set up for flexible materials. A direct drive extruder (extruder mounted close to the hot end) is strongly recommended to reduce filament path length and improve feeding reliability. Recommended printing temperature range is 210–230 °C, with a heated bed temperature of 25–60 °C. Print at moderate speeds of 30–60 mm/s and keep the cooling fan on. Use the retraction settings appropriate to your extruder type: for direct drive start with 3 mm retraction at 40 mm/s; for indirect (Bowden) setups start with 6 mm at 60 mm/s. Adjust settings as needed for your specific printer and model geometry.
Usage recommendations
If the filament has absorbed moisture, dry it at 70 °C for 8 hours before printing. Use a direct drive printer when possible and tune retraction and speed to avoid grinding or under-extrusion. Store the spool in a dry place or sealed bag with desiccant to preserve print quality.
