PolyLite™ ASA is a 1 kg spool of 1.75 mm Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate (ASA) filament in natural color. Designed as an alternative to ABS, this material provides improved weather and UV resistance while maintaining strong mechanical properties, making it suitable for functional prototypes and end-use outdoor parts where dimensional stability and durability are required.

How to use

Disable part cooling fan for best layer adhesion. For direct-drive extruders use approximately 1 mm retraction at 20 mm/s; for Bowden/indirect setups use about 3 mm retraction at 40 mm/s. Large prints benefit from an enclosed build chamber to reduce warping and improve dimensional stability.
Usage recommendations
Dry the filament at 70 °C for about 6 hours if it has absorbed moisture. For prints larger than roughly the size of a fist, an enclosure is recommended to maintain dimensional accuracy; smaller prints may be completed without an enclosure depending on part geometry and printer performance.
