PolyLite™ ASA Purple (Polymaker PF01008) is a 1 kg, 1.75 mm diameter filament made from Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate (ASA). It offers improved weather and UV resistance compared with ABS while maintaining comparable mechanical properties, making it suitable for outdoor parts, durable prototypes and real-life applications where exposure to sunlight and the elements is expected.

How to use
Print PolyLite™ ASA at a nozzle temperature between 240°C and 260°C and a heated bed temperature between 75°C and 95°C. Recommended print speed is 30–50 mm/s. Disable part cooling fan for best layer adhesion. For direct-drive extruders use retraction distance ~1 mm at 20 mm/s; for Bowden/indirect-drive systems use ~3 mm at 40 mm/s. Use an enclosure for larger parts (roughly larger than a clenched fist) to improve dimensional stability and reduce warping. Dry filament at 70°C for about 6 hours only if moisture absorption is suspected.
Usage recommendations
Enclose the printer for prints larger than the size of a fist to improve dimensional stability. Turn off part cooling during printing and follow the specified temperature and retraction settings for your extruder type. Dry filament at 70°C for 6 hours if it has absorbed moisture.
