## Long description

The POSCA PC-5M Pigment Marker in Grape Green is a versatile and reliable tool designed for artists, crafters, and everyday users. Featuring a medium round tip with a line width of 1.8 to 2.5 mm, this marker provides precise control for detailed work as well as broad coverage for larger areas. It utilizes a water-based pigment ink that delivers opaque, vibrant, and lightfast results on a wide variety of surfaces, ensuring your creative projects maintain their quality over time.
Advantages
This marker offers exceptional versatility through its ability to adhere permanently or semi-permanently to numerous materials such as paper, metal, wood, glass, and plastic. The water-based formula is odorless, non-toxic, and does not bleed through paper, making it safe and pleasant to use in indoor environments. The medium round tip is durable and retains its shape well even with frequent use, while the valve-controlled mechanism ensures consistent ink flow without drying out prematurely.
Suitable for
Art and illustration projects on canvas, paper, and cardstock
Crafting and DIY decoration on wood, ceramics, and stone
Sign-making and window displays on glass and plastic
Everyday writing, labeling, and sketching
When it may not be suitable
This marker may not be ideal for applications requiring high resistance to heavy abrasion on non-porous surfaces without the use of a protective varnish. Additionally, on certain glossy or ultra-smooth materials, the water-based ink may require additional drying time or a suitable sealant to prevent smudging.
Key specifications
Color: Grape Green
Tip type: Round tip
Line width: 1.8 to 2.5 mm
Ink type: Water-based pigment ink
Surface compatibility: Paper, metal, wood, glass, plastic, and more
How to use
Before using the marker, ensure the cap is tightly closed and shake the marker vigorously for a few seconds so that the internal ball mixes the ink. Press the tip down several times on a scrap piece of paper to pump the ink until it flows into the tip. After use, recap the marker securely to prevent the tip from drying out and store it horizontally when possible.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the grape green color and line width of 1.8 to 2.5 mm match your specific project requirements
Consider whether your chosen surface is porous or non-porous, as this affects ink permanence and drying time
Determine if a protective varnish is needed for items subject to frequent handling or weather exposure
To achieve the best results and ensure maximum longevity of your POSCA PC-5M marker, always store it with the cap firmly attached and perform a quick test on a scrap material before applying it to your final artwork.
