## Long description

The POSCA PC-5M Pigment Marker in forest green is a reliable and versatile creative tool designed for a wide range of artistic and practical applications. Featuring a medium round tip with a stroke width of 1.8 to 2.5 mm, this marker delivers consistent lines suitable for both detailed work and broader coverage. The water-based opaque paint provides excellent coverage, drying quickly to a matte finish that does not bleed through paper. It is permanent on porous surfaces and can be removed from smooth, non-porous surfaces like glass with water, offering great flexibility for temporary and permanent displays alike.
Advantages
The marker utilizes high-quality pigment-based ink that ensures vibrant and lightfast colors over time. Its water-based formula is odorless and safe for indoor use without harsh chemical fumes. The versatile round tip allows users to easily transition between fine lines and thicker strokes by adjusting the writing angle and pressure. Additionally, the paint adheres strongly to a multitude of materials, reducing the need for multiple specialized tools.
Suitable for
Drawing and sketching on paper and cardstock
Customizing and decorating wood, metal, and plastic items
Creating temporary signage and art on glass windows
Crafting, scrapbooking, and mixed media projects
When it may not be suitable
This marker may not be ideal for outdoor applications exposed to continuous heavy rain or abrasion without a protective sealant, as water-based paint can wear down over time on non-porous surfaces. It is also less suited for extremely fine, micro-detailed technical drawings due to the 1.8 to 2.5 mm width of the round tip.
Key specifications
Color: Forest Green
Tip type: Round tip
Stroke width: 1.8 to 2.5 mm
Ink type: Water-based opaque pigment paint
Surface compatibility: Paper, metal, wood, glass, plastic, and textiles
How to use
Before use, shake the marker vigorously with the cap on to mix the internal ball mechanism and paint. Press the tip down several times on a scrap piece of paper to prime the valve and allow the ink to flow into the nib. After use, replace the cap securely to prevent the tip from drying out. Store the marker horizontally when possible to maintain consistent ink flow.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the forest green color and 1.8 to 2.5 mm line width suit your intended project requirements
Check the compatibility of the target surface material with water-based pigment markers
Consider whether a permanent or removable finish is required for your specific application
For best results, store the POSCA PC-5M marker at room temperature and always recap tightly after use to maximize the lifespan of the round tip.
