It transmits digital video and multichannel audio up to Ultra High Definition 4K@60Hz (2160p@60Hz) with YUV 4:4:4 color sampling and supports HDCP content protection. The cable uses OM3 multimode fiber and active electronics to preserve signal quality over long runs while remaining powered from the HDMI bus (consumption \<250 mW), so no external power supply is required.
