## Summary description

Prosperplast Coubi is a transparent orchid pot designed for healthy root development and controlled moisture. Made with clear walls to provide light to orchid roots, it includes an internal water reservoir and a moisture-regulating system to prevent overwatering or drying out. With a 1.5 L capacity and compact cylindrical shape, it suits both beginners and experienced growers and allows easy monitoring of root condition and substrate moisture.

## Long description

Prosperplast Coubi transparent orchid pot, 13 cm diameter and 16 cm height, is designed to support healthy root growth and make watering management easier. Its clear walls allow light to reach orchid roots while an integrated inner reservoir and moisture-regulating features help maintain stable substrate humidity. The compact cylindrical shape and 1.5 L capacity fit a range of orchid varieties and typical indoor locations such as windowsills or plant shelves.
Advantages
The clear plastic construction provides visibility of roots and substrate moisture, enabling targeted watering and earlier detection of root problems. A built-in water reservoir reduces the risk of overwatering by storing excess water away from the root zone while the moisture-regulating design helps prevent both waterlogging and rapid drying. Lightweight and durable material makes the pot easy to move and clean, and its simple shape fits a variety of decorative outer pots.
Suitable for
Phalaenopsis and other epiphytic orchids that benefit from light on the roots
 Beginners learning correct watering routines
Experienced growers who monitor root health and moisture closely
Indoor placement on windowsills, shelves, or under grow lights
When it may not be suitable
This transparent pot may not be ideal if you strictly prefer opaque decorative containers without seeing the substrate or roots; in such cases an outer cachepot can hide the inner pot. Large terrestrial orchids or species requiring very deep substrates may outgrow the 1.5 L capacity and compact height over time, requiring repotting into larger containers.
Key specifications
 Material: transparent plastic
 Internal capacity: 1.5 L
 Diameter: 13 cm
 Height: 16 cm
 Shape: cylindrical
Built-in inner water reservoir and moisture-regulating design
How to use
Place a suitable orchid substrate (bark mix, charcoal, or other well-draining media) in the pot and position the plant so roots are in contact with the substrate and visible through the walls. Fill the inner reservoir according to the manufacturer’s markings or until excess drains into the reservoir after initial watering. Monitor root color and substrate moisture through the transparent walls and water when the substrate surface becomes slightly dry, or top up the reservoir as needed. Clean the pot and reservoir occasionally to prevent salt buildup and ensure unobstructed drainage.
What to consider before purchase
Suitability for your orchid species and expected root system size
Whether you prefer visible roots (transparent) or need an outer decorative pot
Placement space available (13 cm diameter, 16 cm height)
Willingness to monitor and clean the reservoir periodically
Usage recommendations
Use a lightweight, well-draining orchid substrate and avoid compacting media; check roots through the transparent walls weekly and maintain moderate reservoir levels to balance aeration and moisture for healthy epiphytic orchids.
