## Long description

The Puluz PU425 Lavalier Microphone 1.5m USB-C is a compact electret condenser microphone designed specifically for users of mobile devices, tablets, and computers equipped with a USB-C or Type-C port. Engineered for reliable audio capture, this clip-on lapel microphone provides clear voice recording for interviews, vlogs, online meetings, video streaming, and content creation. Featuring a plug-and-play design, it allows for immediate use without the need to install additional drivers. The durable housing is manufactured from high-quality CNC-machined aluminum alloy, offering shock resistance and long-lasting durability during daily mobile journalism and recording tasks.
Advantages
This lavalier microphone utilizes active sound pickup technology to deliver clean and high-quality audio recordings. Its omnidirectional pickup pattern captures sound effectively from all directions, ensuring natural voice reproduction. The included cable length of 1.5 meters offers convenient placement options, while the adjustable joint with 90-degree rotation allows users to easily position the microphone for different recording scenarios. The robust aluminum alloy body provides physical protection and stability, making it a dependable accessory for on-the-go recordings.
Suitable for
Mobile journalists conducting interviews
Content creators recording vlogs and videos
Participants in online meetings and video conferences
Streamers and broadcasters working with USB-C devices
When it may not be suitable
This microphone may not be suitable for devices that lack a USB-C interface, as it does not include traditional analog audio jacks or adapters in the standard specification. It is also not designed for professional studio recording environments that require XLR connections or phantom power sources.
Key specifications
Omnidirectional polar pattern
USB-C / Type-C interface
Frequency response of 50 Hz to 16,000 Hz
Sensitivity of -22 dB ± 3 dB
Signal-to-noise ratio above 60 dB SPL
Impedance below 2.2 kΩ
Aluminum alloy construction with CNC machining
Active sound pickup and 90-degree angle adjustment
How to use
To use the microphone, plug the USB-C connector directly into a compatible smartphone, tablet, or computer. Secure the lavalier lapel clip onto your clothing near your mouth to ensure optimal voice pickup. Adjust the microphone angle up to 90 degrees if necessary to find the best recording position. Because the device supports plug-and-play functionality, your system should recognize it automatically as an audio input device, allowing you to start recording or broadcasting immediately without manual driver setup.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your smartphone, tablet, or computer features a compatible USB-C port
Confirm whether your recording software supports external USB microphones
Consider the 1.5-meter cable length to ensure it meets your distance requirements
Usage recommendations: For the best audio results, keep the microphone close to the sound source and use it in a relatively quiet indoor environment to minimize background noise interference.
