The QNAP TL-R1220Sep-RP is a 12-bay HDD/SSD expansion enclosure designed to increase the storage capacity of QTS or QuTS hero NAS systems. It supports 2.5" and 3.5" SAS/SATA drives and provides four SFF-8644 mini SAS HD wide ports for high-speed connectivity. Up to sixteen TL-R1220Sep-RP units can be daisy-chained to reach a combined raw capacity of up to 3.4 PB. The unit supports hot-swapping, rack-mount installation (2U), redundant power, and centralized management through the host NAS Storage & Snapshot Manager or a console port.
