The QNAP TL-R1620Sep-RP HDD enclosure expands storage capacity for QTS or QuTS hero NAS systems. It supports up to sixteen daisy-chained expansion enclosures via mini SAS HD cables for a combined raw capacity up to 4.6 PB. The unit features four SFF-8644 Wide Ports (12 Gb/s SAS 3.0 x4) and Broadcom® SAS DataBolt™ bandwidth optimization to consolidate 6 Gb/s infrastructures into 12 Gb/s performance. The enclosure supports 2.5" and 3.5" SAS/SATA drives, hot-swapping, and includes redundant power for increased availability.
