## Summary description

RainPoint HL1202 50-Foot Drip Irrigation Hose designed for efficient garden and plant watering. This 50-foot hose delivers water directly to the root zone, minimizing evaporation and conserving water. Ideal for flower beds, vegetable gardens, and landscaping, providing a reliable and uniform water supply for healthy plant growth.

## Long description

The RainPoint HL1202 50-Foot Drip Irrigation Hose is a reliable solution designed for efficient and water-conscious garden watering. Measuring approximately 15 meters long, this drip irrigation hose delivers water directly to the plant root zone, minimizing surface evaporation and reducing overall water consumption by up to 80% compared to traditional watering methods. Featuring a flexible construction with an inner rubber tube and a protective textile braid, it easily adapts to different garden layouts, whether laid in straight rows or curved around trees and shrubs. Equipped with durable 3/4-inch anodized fittings and a pressure-reducing system, this hose ensures a steady and uniform water supply for various outdoor growing areas.
Advantages
The RainPoint drip irrigation hose provides uniform water release along its entire length, ensuring that moisture reaches the root system directly without wasting water on walkways or leaves. Its dual-layer construction combines a flexible inner rubber tube for steady flow with a dense outer textile braid that protects against abrasion and wear on various surfaces. The included 3/4-inch anodized fittings offer enhanced corrosion resistance and long-lasting durability, while 360-degree swivel connectors prevent kinking during setup and daily use. Furthermore, the modular design allows multiple sections to be connected in series, making it simple to expand the watering coverage for larger gardens.
Suitable for
Watering residential flower beds and ornamental garden borders
Irrigating home vegetable patches and raised garden beds
Supplying moisture to greenhouses and plant tunnels
Watering individual trees, shrubs, and hedges in landscaping
When it may not be suitable
This drip irrigation hose is not designed for high-pressure water systems exceeding 4.1 bar, as excessive water pressure can damage the internal structure. It is also not suitable for delivering drinking water or for use in complex automated irrigation systems that require precise zone-by-zone electronic valve control without manual adjustments.
Key specifications
Length: Approximately 15 meters or 50 feet
Connection size: 3/4 inch
Recommended operating pressure: 2.75 to 4.1 bar (40 to 60 PSI)
Inner material: Flexible rubber tube
Outer material: Reinforced textile braid
Fittings: Anodized and corrosion-resistant with 360-degree swivel
How to use
Unroll the RainPoint drip hose and lay it out flat in your garden bed, positioning it directly along the base of your plants or looping it gently around trees and bushes. Connect the 3/4-inch swivel fitting to your water source or garden tap, ensuring the connection is secure. Attach the included end cap to the opposite end of the hose to close the system. Turn on the water supply gradually, adjusting the pressure to stay within the recommended range of 2.75 to 4.1 bar to achieve an even and gentle drip rate along the entire length of the hose.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your outdoor water tap compatibility matches the 3/4-inch fitting size
Check your water supply pressure to ensure it stays within the 2.75 to 4.1 bar operational range
Measure your garden layout to determine if a 50-foot length is sufficient or if additional connectable sections are needed
Plan the hose placement to avoid sharp bends or heavy foot traffic that could obstruct water flow
Usage recommendations
Operate the hose within the recommended pressure range of 2.75 to 4.1 bar to prevent material damage and maintain uniform water distribution. Drain and store the hose in a frost-free area during freezing winter conditions to prolong its operational lifespan.
