To set an alarm, press and hold the AL button until one of the three alarm times starts flashing. Press the top button (sphere) and rotate the sphere to set the hour, then press the top button again to move to minute setting. Rotate the sphere to set minutes and press the top button to confirm. The display will then show day selection; set how many days the alarm should be active and press the top button again. Finally choose ON to enable the alarm or OFF to disable it. Use the top button to activate the touch light for temporary backlighting; the bright light turns off after 10 seconds.
