The RØDE NT55 is a small-diaphragm true-condenser cardioid stage microphone designed for accurate capture of acoustic instruments, drum overheads, cymbals and live performances. It uses a 1/2" capsule and an active J-FET impedance converter with bipolar output buffer, and is available as a single mic or an acoustically matched pair. The mic is finished in satin nickel, connects via XLR-3, and is covered by a 10-year manufacturer warranty.
