The RØDE VideoMicro is a compact digital camera microphone designed to improve the audio quality of video recordings. It features an all-metal aluminium body, a cardioid condenser capsule and a lightweight form factor (approximately 80 mm long and 42 g), providing directional audio capture with reduced peripheral noise. The microphone requires no internal battery and is powered via a camera plug-in power supply (minimum 3 V). The package includes a Rycote® Lyre® shock mount and a WS9 synthetic furry windshield. A TRS to TRRS cable (RØDE SC7) is available separately for use with smartphones.
